This year we are again represented at dmexco, the leading international trade fair for the digital economy and look forward to meeting you there in person.
This year you can get expert knowledge and fresh impulses from our experts on three different occasions:
Our young colleagues Katharina Konow and Büsra Sevinc have made the impossible come true and are finalists at the BVDW Challenge Award 2019. After a successful pre-presentation in Berlin they are now allowed to present their idea of a sustainable flagship house for IKEA on the big stage of DMEXCO.
We hope to have many visitors on site who will then vote the case to be the winner. Silver is already certain, but a visit to the Cannes Lions 2020 is in prospect.
Be there on Wednesday, 11 September from 12:45 - 13:45 at the Debate Stage (Hall 8).

Dr. Thomas Walter, Head of Business Consulting, Namics – A Merkle Company
How exactly can you plan the Next Best Action? On which channels do you have to be present when and how and how do you address customers personally? How do you define the next step and how flexible do you have to be? "How to drive the next best action" picks up on these key questions, provides insights into challenges from everyday project work and points out approaches and best practices. Dr. Thomas Walter addresses the topics of data management, insights, orchestration and a positive customer experience - not detached, but in interaction: What role does data management play; when do insights really become relevant to the customer and what is the right balance between manual and automatic orchestration? This presentation will help you not only to understand the customer journey of your customers but to design it optimally.
Join us on Wednesday, 11 September at 17:30, Salesforce Theatre (Hall 6 / C-080).
The traditional marketing organization is reaching its limits in the digital age. Outdated silo structures and confusing networks of service providers hamper modern, agile and interdisciplinary work. The answer to the question of how marketing and communication must be organized becomes a critical success factor. What models are there for this and how do they work?
Our Agile expert Almut Ringleben, Senior Principal Consultant, shares her point of view in the BVDW panel discussion. They gain exciting insights into agile and interdisciplinary work and get to know new methods.
Join us and get fresh impulses on Thursday, 12 September at 2 p.m., Hall 5.1, Seminar Room 1.
